International School Hilversum is looking for an experienced and versatile Visual Arts teacher to teach in the MYP (middle year's programme). 

The role includes teaching in the secondary school STEAM programme and organising school art exhibitions. This role requires an individual with an affinity for creativity, technology and tinkering. A background in sculpting, decor, puppetry or any other arts related creative field would be an advantage. We are looking for an energetic go getter who wants to be a part of a growing arts culture in the school. You will also support the Arts Department with the annual secondary school play decor/props.

The vacancy is available as of 1 August 2025 for 0,5fte (two and half days) with a Thursday as non-negotiable.

Qualifications and experience

• Experience with any IB Programmes will be an advantage however not essential. 
• A teaching qualification and eligibility to work in the Netherlands is essential.
• The school cannot cover relocation costs or a work visa for this role. 
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Working days can be discussed but is dependent on the timetable.
Salary will depend on your background and experience in accordance with the Dutch CAO-VO. This includes benefits like a year-end bonus and travel allowance.
We cannot offer international relocation costs or housing.
