The International School Laren is a growing International School, offering the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programme (MYP and DP). We were founded in 2018 and located in a beautiful environment known as Het Gooi, close to Hilversum and Schiphol.

As a Dutch LL teacher (0.4-0.5 FTE), you will play a key role in supporting our DP and MYP students in developing their science skills. You will be part of a collaborative team, with guidance from the Head of Department and school coordinators, all working together to inspire and challenge students to achieve their highest potential.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an enthusiastic International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme Physics teacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate is somewone with:

• Excellent social and communicative skills
• Passion to encourage students to discover and develop their talents and skills
• Enthusiasm about Dutch Language and Literature
• Intercultural awareness
• Affinity with the International Baccalaureate
• Appropriate (international) teaching qualification
• Proficiency in English
• Dutch passport or eligibility to live and work in the Netherlands;
• A “Verklaring van goed gedrag”(VOG) will be required upon appointment;
• References should be provided upon request.

Salary is according to the Collective Labour Agreement (CAO) for Secondary Education (VO).
