What will you do?
- Plan and deliver lessons that align with the IB curriculum, incorporating inquiry-based approaches that encourage hands-on learning and transdisciplinary connections.
- Use a range of teaching strategies to engage students actively and develop essential skills such as communication, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Monitor, assess, and document children’s progress, using data to inform planning and communicate effectively with parents.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with diverse needs, including the support of multi-lingualism and ELL.
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom atmosphere that promotes children’s well-being, confidence, and respect.
- Collaborate with colleagues, and parents to support each child’s unique learning journey. Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies, ensuring the welfare of all children in your care.
What are we looking for?
Position: Primary Years Programme Teacher
Contract: 0.8 FTE (32 hrs per week) -Temporary contract - with immediate effect. CAO PO
Workdays: Tuesday to Friday (08h00 - 16h00)

What are we searching for in a colleague?
- An educator who has Bachelor of Education or equivalent University Degree for Primary Education with DUO recognition if it is an international degree.
- An educator who demonstrates a collaborative, professional mindset.
- A proactive educator who shows a genuine desire to contribute to our lively and diverse school community.
- An experienced Primary School educator who has worked in a small team setting, preferably within an international or multicultural environment.
- A self-motivated educator who possesses in-depth knowledge of the PYP framework, including inquiry, conceptual understanding, ATL skills, assessment and agency.
- An educator who builds respectful relationships, understanding and valuing cultural, linguistic and learning diversity.
- An enthusiastic educator who possesses excellent communication skills in English.
- An empathetic and compassionate educator who demonstrates the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Our PYP caters to students from ages 4 to 11, offering a high-quality, holistic education in a welcoming, nurturing, inclusive environment.
